The Spirit of Jezebel in the Jezebelian Church

 Text: Revelation 2: 18-23

Key Verse: Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach & to seduce my servants to commit fornication, & to eat things sacrificed unto idols. (Revelation 2:20)

The Jezebelian Church is a church in which the spirit of Jezebel is in control rather than the Holy Spirit. We all know about the evil character called Jezebel in the old testament who was the leading prophetess of Baal & enshrined Baal worship as the official religion in Israel. She had about 850 prophets in her pay roll & she slayed the prophets of God to the point that the rest had to go into hiding & only Elijah was the only vocal prophet of God. Jezebel sponsored & promoted Idolatry, whoredoms, prostitution, sexual looseness & immorality among her members, prophets & ministers. Wickedness & evil was the order of the day while Jezebel was in power. Naboth experienced the wrath of Jezebel & died prematurely for a crime he did not commit & for refusing to shift ground & hold onto his right.

The Jezebel, being described in the book of revelation is not referring to the Jezebel of the old testament but to the spirit that was controlling her. The spirit of Jezebel is a very dangerous spirit & today it has crept into churches. Many churches today are under the grip & control of the spirit of Jezebel. Today in some so call Pentecostal churches we have Jezebel mummy G.O & Jezebel Daddy G.O, Jezebelian Pastors, evangelist, choristers, ushers & ministers.

In any congregation where you have the spirit of Jezebel in full or partial operation, they are going to have a form of godliness but will deny God in works. What is being practiced will go against what is being preached. Spiritual growth will be absent in such congregation. They will secretly & openly go against the commandments of God. Immorality will be the openly practiced in such a congregation. Holiness will be a scarce commodity. Vices will be openly practiced. The church will become a club, show centre, entertainment centre. Any body that goes to such a congregation will become a two-fold child of hell that what he was before coming. Such congregation will mocked, ridicule those who are trying to live a holy life & keep the commandments of God.

Somebody who had never been to a night club before, was invited to a Pentecostal congregation for a special programme where the spirit of Jezebel was in full operation. On getting there the programme started & along the line there was a special performance. A brother & two sisters in the church came out to dance & entertain the audience inside the church to one of Michael Jacksons song. While the entire performance was going on the two sisters was busy dancing & swinging their breasts wildly as if they were in a club & the Jezebelian leadership & everyone were applauding, smiling & enjoying the entire show. They were like telling the congregation you don’t need to go to the club to enjoy yourself, in our church we can entertain you for free. If you find yourself in such a congregation you need to run for your dear life & go for deliverance. Now imagine such display of looseness, & immorality what was the purpose of Michael Jackson’s song in a church in the first place. Were they using the song & the swinging breast to glorify God & win people to heaven or the reverse?

When you see a church in which the daddy G.O/ mummy G.O or Pastor, openly comes to join couples who are already pregnant or living together under the same roof in holy matrimony on the altar of God just know that such a minister is operating under the spirit of Jezebel & that the spirit of Jezebel is in full operation in such a church. The bible says that marriage is honourable when the bed is undefiled but that whore-mongers & adulterers God will judge. If you find yourself in such a church run away & go for deliverance & ask God for mercy.

When you see a church in which sexual immorality is allowed to go on openly, with no caution, rebuke, or discipline amongst members & workers just know that the spirit of Jezebel is in full force in such a congregation & run for your dear life.

The spirit of Jezebel is the spirit of Witchcraft, idolatry, sexual perversion, rejection of authority, wickedness, evil & going against the word of God. The mandate of such churches where the spirit of Jezebel is in operation is to lead their members to hell & destroy destinies. Ministers who are operating under the spirit of Jezebel are usually in league with the devil & the more people they enslave & lead to hell the more the devil rewards them with physical & financial rewards. Such churches will regularly organize shows & jams where they will bring in secular artiste, entertainers & comedians’ to come & entertain members & invitees.

Friend, God is no respecter of persons if you know that you are in a congregation where the spirit of Jezebel is in operation please run away, repent & ask God for mercy before it is too late. Forget about the free sex & freedom to commit atrocities you may be having right now. He that hath an ear let him hear what the spirit saidth unto the churches.

Key Verse: Behold, I will cast her into a bed, & them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. (Revelation 2:22)

God judges all those who operates his churches with the spirit of Jezebel on the long run. Sometimes he delays judgement but he always judges & punishes both the leadership & the followers of such congregation. There are times where the followers experience the judgement long before the leadership. Friend please don’t suffer for what you were not the originator.
