FAULTY FOUNDATIONS – THE HIDDEN ROOT OF MANY BATTLES 📖 *Psalm 11:3 – “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”* (KJV) ## **1. INTRODUCTION** A foundation is the base upon which a life, destiny, family, ministry, or nation is built. No matter how beautiful a building is, if the foundation is faulty, cracks will appear, and collapse becomes inevitable. In the spiritual realm, **a faulty foundation refers to hidden spiritual roots, covenants, dedications, and sins—whether personal or ancestral—that speak against a person’s life, despite their current faith and righteousness**. Psalm 11:3 is not a suggestion—it is a **reality check**. It doesn’t say “if the foundations are destroyed, the wicked will suffer.” It says, *“what can the righteous do?”* That means righteousness alone is not enough to cancel the consequences of a bad foundation—there must be **deliverance and repair**. ## **2. Many people today use grace as an excuse to indulge, live & practice sin. They will tell you that they have the grace to commit steal, live a fraudulent lifestyle, commit fornication & many other atrocities. You hear many so call believers go against God’s commandment with impunity & tell you that the God has already forgiven them of the sins they have already committed & the ones they are yet to commit. Does the fact that Christ has paid the price for your sins give the Christian the right to live in sin? The answer is a capital NO. The bible says that shall we continue in sin that grace may abound, God forbid how shall we that are dead to sin live any longer in it. SCRIPTURE: For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Proverbs 6:26. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Just like impurity reduces the quality of gold, immorality, and iniquity generally, reduces the quality of a person’s life and destiny. The lifestyle of immorality (iniquity generally) has been confirmed to be a deadly enemy of destiny. Immorality was the ruin of Samson. Immorality almost ruined the lives of people like David and Solomon. Now, I want you to know that just as impurity reduces the quality of gold, immorality, and iniquity generally, reduces the quality of a person’s life and destiny. By means of a whorish woman or a prostitute, a man’s worth is reduced to a piece of bread (Proverbs 6:26). (Revelation 2:20) The Jezebelian Church is a church in which the spirit of Jezebel is in control rather than the Holy Spirit. We all know about the evil character called Jezebel in the old testament who was the leading prophetess of Baal & enshrined Baal worship as the official religion in Israel. She had about 850 prophets in her pay roll & she slayed the prophets of God to the point that the rest had to go into hiding & only Elijah was the only vocal prophet of God.
